What is a Brainspotting Intensive?
As a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, and Embodiment Coach, Sarah offers a 3-session brainspotting intensive experience (90 minutes each) designed to support meaningful, focused change at both the emotional and somatic level.
This work blends neuroscience, nervous system awareness, and embodiment practices to support both release and expansion helping you move out of survival patterns and into greater emotional freedom, clarity, and connection using Sarah’s innovative Mālama Method.
How Brainspotting Works
Brainspotting is an evidence-based, somatic technique for emotional healing and expansion. A derivative of EMDR, brainspotting helps you access and release emotional stress and trauma patterns held in the subconscious mind and body.
Rooted in neuroscience and somatic awareness, brainspotting uses the intelligence of your own body to support deep emotional processing and regulation. In addition to healing trauma patterns, this work also supports state expansion, helping you to strengthen access to greater calm, clarity, presence, and connection to self.
Your Intensive Experience
In this 3-session intensive, you will be guided to:
Clarify patterns of fight, flight, freeze, and fawn that contribute to emotional dysregulation
Identify both healing goals and desired states of expansion, such as joy, confidence, and self-compassion
Locate and work with “brainspots” - points in your visual field linked to emotional activation, regulation, safety, and expansion
Engage in guided processing on selected brainspots to safely release stored emotional stress and nervous system activation
Debrief and integrate Brainspotting sessions for deeper understanding and embodiment
What is the Outcome of an Intensive?
This intensive is designed to create meaningful, embodied change in a short, focused container—helping you move beyond insight into real nervous system transformation.
