Led by a licensed therapist (LCSW) and experienced yoga teacher (RYT-200), this workshop is designed for teen girls (ages 12–18) to build confidence, manage stress, and support emotional wellbeing. Through yoga, breathing practices, meditation, and guided reflection, participants will learn simple tools to calm their minds, strengthen self-esteem, and develop healthy coping strategies to navigate this busy time of year. No yoga experience needed. All levels welcome.

Sarah developed Yoga Circle during summer 2015 to teach teen girls how to tune into their body, mind, and spirit through her unique method of integrating group counseling with the 8 limbs of yoga. As a licensed therapist (LCSW) and former high school counselor, psychology educator, and yoga instructor at Punahou School, Sarah has over 2 decades of experience running girls groups and teaching teens how to embody their best selves through yoga, group counseling, and self-reflection.
Based on current research, we know that kids who practice yoga regularly experience increased body awareness, confidence, concentration, patience, mindfulness, creativity, and emotional control. Moreover, adolescent girls who practice yoga regularly develop healthier body images, eating habits, self-esteem, and strategies for coping with stress.
